IT Security Expert (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the administration and further development of the security platforms assigned to you, in particular for terminals, email, password management and Microsoft 365. You act as an internal contact person for the respective platforms and continuously optimize their use in accordance with the company's requirements. Together with our external service provider for Managed Detection and Response, you coordinate the processing of security incidents, evaluate and prioritise them and monitor the implementation of the agreed measures. You plan and conduct vulnerability scans and analyses, track identified vulnerabilities and coordinate their elimination with the relevant responders. You carry out technical security checks for new tools, systems, cloud services and solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, and you will develop technical reviews and recommendations. You participate in the development and operation of the Information Security Management System according to ISO/IEC 27001, in security policies, risk assessments and audits as well as in cross-departmental projects.

You have a degree in the field of (economic) informatics, IT security or a similar subject or have a comparable qualification. You have at least three years of professional experience in the field of IT security, information security or in a comparable function. You bring proven experience in the operation and administration of an enterprise security environment as well as security platforms for end devices, email and password management, and good knowledge of Microsoft 365 security. You are familiar with vulnerability management and network security with firewall, proxy and virtual private network solutions. You're burning for IT security, driving topics on your own, and ideally have acquired practical certificates such as BTL1, CompTIA Security+, CEH or comparable qualifications. You have knowledge of German and English in a way that is safe for negotiation, brings together experience in project management and data, cloud or artificial intelligence security and convinces by a structured and self-responsible way of working.
