As part of your diverse training, you will gain experience in semiconductor technology that will open up new paths later. The work you carry out takes place in very well equipped clean rooms, where you will find all plant technologies of modern semiconductor processing. The control and implementation of clean room conditions are essential aspects of your training, while you are our scientists in developing new technologies of the III-V semiconductors. At any time, you have the opportunity to introduce your own questions and ideas and you will get many insights into this exciting field of research. You acquire knowledge of various processes in semiconductor technology (coatings, dry etching, lithography etc.). You also carry out wet chemical processes for cleaning and surface structuring. You can also study process results using different measurement methods. You support the maintenance of process systems and quality control for various important processes. Already during your training you work with research projects and customer orders.

You have a good degree in real school or Abitur, especially in physics, chemistry and technology, good to very good grades are of advantage. It is important to introduce you to your team and to achieve common goals in cooperation. You are reliable and can convince with your independent, precise and service-oriented work. Your MS Office skills are good, especially in Excel and Word. You master the English language well in word and writing to be able to communicate in an international team. Technical understanding and logical thinking are also a characteristic.
