At the closest possible time we are looking for you as a (Junior) BIM designer:in railway power switching systems infrastructure projects (w/m/d) for DB Energie GmbH at the location Leipzig. You can expect an approximately twelve-month, multi-stage onboarding and qualification program for the planning engineer:in railway power switching systems with a mentor/ mentor and your team. Your tasks:

At the heart of your work is the model-based planning of web-stream switching systems, you develop and lease digital BIM models with Autodesk Revit and – after appropriate incorporation – Primtech 3D for the power phases 2 to 6 From the start, you will get insights into the project business and work with the support of your team in technical solutions and conversion variants for the new building or replacement of railway power switching systems. You will learn to keep track of dates and costs and make sure to use Autodesk Forma as a CDE for model management, data storage and digital cooperation in the project team You are involved in the technical model coordination and quality assurance of the models, for example through collision checks, information management and the coordination between the planning participants. You continuously develop your knowledge in BIM processes and digital collaboration The introduction and further development of BIM methodology in the company supports you and actively brings your perspective to standards and processes around BIM modeling and digital collaboration You support the project and team success by becoming increasingly secure with clients:inside, builders:inside, engineering offices and authorities to design, interfaces and data management and incorporating them into the overall planning As part of your onboarding and further training program, you will gain deeper knowledge in web power supply, relevant structures, processes and regulations, as well as practical experience through construction site visits and daily project work

Your profile:

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy engineering, industrial engineering with the field of electrical engineering or in a comparable technical field, or you are standing shortly before the conclusion You bring first knowledge of model-based planning and have already worked with Autodesk Revit, for example in your studies, in internships, student work or graduation work Knowledge in Primtech 3D (entegra) as well as initial experience in model coordination with VDC Manager (e.g. DESIT md pro) are desirable, but no prerequisite Ideally, you have first contact points with infrastructure projects, energy plants, railway power supply or the railway environment; most importantly, your interest is to get involved in these topics Ideally, you already know the work with a CDE, especially Autodesk Forma, or are motivated to work quickly into digital collaboration platforms and BIM processes.
