About the area: In the areas of Chief Sustainability Office, Corporate Affairs & Strategy, Planning and Performance Management and Management Consulting, we focus on actively shaping the strategy definition and implementation of Deutsche Bank Groups. We understand our role in supporting the Bank's senior management in realizing its strategic priorities and driving forward future issues. Chief Sustainability Office: As a central interface for sustainability aspects, the Chief Sustainability Office develops, coordinates and implements the sustainability strategy of the Deutsche Bank Group across divisions and globally in cooperation with the business and infrastructure units. Significant environmental and social issues as well as sustainability-related aspects of corporate governance are thus systematically promoted. Corporate Affairs & Strategy: Corporate Affairs & Strategy includes the strategy, communication, political affairs teams and the CEO's staff. With this powerful combination, the area is responsible for a systematic dialogue with the interest groups of the bank in close cooperation with the corporate strategy and thus contributes significantly to the strategy implementation. The interaction and importance of the individual areas allows a holistic work from the development of strategy to the implementation and management of internal and external stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Management Consulting: Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (Inhouse Consulting) contributes significantly to implementing the strategic vision of the Deutsche Bank Group. We support the senior management of the Bank's business and infrastructure sectors in developing and implementing strategic priorities in detail. Our teams lead and support a wide range of international projects in close cooperation with our internal customers. Planning & Performance Management: Group Planning & Performance Management (PPM) plays a central role in the strategy definition of Deutsche Bank and its implementation in ambitious financial plans and their monitoring. The area is also responsible for setting group-wide standards for all financial control variables and associated processes, as well as regular performance analyses and projections including the development of possible measures in case of plan deviations. As part of the trainee program, you will get to know three of the Bank's strategy, sustainability and consulting areas, gain an overview of our tasks and become involved in various projects in varied roles. Your duties at the Chief Sustainability Office include cooperation in the further development of the sustainability strategy and the support of strategic sustainability initiatives in the Group, as well as the management of reputation risks related to the Bank's environmental and social issues. You will get insights into all aspects of the sustainability management of a large group. The Corporate Affairs & Strategy section provides insights into the management of a globally operating financial institution and provides the different facets of the strategy and chief-of-staff sector. At Deutsche Bank Management Consulting, you work within a project team on a strategic topic for the bank and quickly take responsibility for individual project tasks. In cooperation with contact persons from the business units and the project team, you can immerse yourself in project-specific topics and at the same time acquire bank-wide knowledge. In Group PPM you will be in the teams Business Perf. Mgmt./Coverage & Analytics; Balanced scorecards and Regional and Infra Coverage, Legal Entities & Portfolio Management provide insights into the strategic planning of the Group and the individual business and infrastructure sectors as well as the design, improvement and provision of financial performance monitoring and forecasting functions. For this purpose, you will participate in the creation of financial/scenario analyses and presentations to support decision-making and build a network across many areas.
