On behalf of our customer, we are looking for an experienced shopping or supply chain expert who wants to bring his many years of experience, expertise and, if necessary, his professional network into flexible, independent cooperation. Our customer, based in Düsseldorf, supports German medium-sized companies in building and developing their procurement activities in China. The focus is on supplier search, procurement, supplier evaluation and supply chain management for technical products and components. For operational implementation, our customer works with an experienced sourcing team in China. Among other things, this takes over the supplier search, RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, sampling and further operational project implementation on site. The current priorities are in particular in the following areas: PCBA / EMS and electronics production Injection moulds and technical plastic parts BLDC motors and electromechanical components The aim is to provide German medium-sized companies with a competent contact in Germany and reliable operational support directly in the Chinese market.

Your role and tasks As a Senior Sourcing Advisor, you can flexibly integrate your long-term shopping and industry expertise into customer and sourcing projects. Consulting German customers for procurement, supplier selection and sourcing strategies Expert evaluation of RFQs, offers, costs and suppliers Support for projects in PCBA / EMS, injection moulds, technical plastic parts and BLDC motors Participation in selected customer meetings and support in request intake Bringing appropriate industry and business contacts and supporting customer development If necessary, professional support from the request to the selection of suppliers and project implementation Cold acquisition is not the focus. The focus is on your shopping experience, industry knowledge and professional network. The specific scope of cooperation is flexibly agreed according to your experience and availability.

Your profile Long-standing experience in strategic/technical purchasing, global sourcing or supply chain management, ideally in a responsible position Found experience with RFQ, cost analysis, supplier selection and quality requirements Industry or product experience in PCBA / EMS, injection moulds, technical plastic parts, BLDC motors, automotive electronics, industrial electronics or mechanical engineering Experience in international shopping and with Chinese suppliers Existing network in German industry, in particular in purchasing, automotive, electronics or manufacturing, German, professional appearance Ready to find online or on-site terminals Particularly welcome are experienced shopping and supply chain experts, interim managers, independent consultants as well as specialist and executives in retirement or in transition to retirement, which continue to use their experience in a targeted manner.
