IT Security Engineer - limited to 4 years

You advise system managers in the creation and updating of IT security concepts – and you can follow the standards of BSI IT basic protection and ISO 27001. You make sure that IT checks are regularly planned and carried out so that our systems remain safe and reliable. You actively contribute to information security management and support reporting within your specialist tasks. You evaluate the IT security of our systems and accompany clear procedures with your know-how. You work in a dedicated team of IT security experts:inside and coordinating consulting tasks, you can adapt to the requirements of our security concepts at the site. Your main work place will be the nuclear power plant in Brunsbüttel. In this position you report to the IT security officer of the Brunsbüttel nuclear power plant.

A completed university degree (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in the IT field or an MINT field – or a completed vocational training in the IT field with several years of experience in IT security. Comparable training or training with corresponding professional experience are also welcome. First practical experience in information and IT security – you don’t have to bring everything along, but want to develop yourself further. Knowledge of project management and joy in working structured and solution-oriented. Confidence with ISO 27001 and the BSI IT-Grundschutz (e.g. as an IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker*in). Experience in a nuclear plant is a plus, but no need. Very good German knowledge in word and writing as well as good English knowledge. A sense of responsibility, a good judgement and the ability to keep an overview even in complex situations. Communication strength and decision-making pleasure – you like to work in the team and introduce your perspective.
