Self-adoption, analysis and documentation as well as troubleshooting messages or new requirements in preliminary and possibly Second-level support Ensuring the operation and independent maintenance of the IT and media technology infrastructure of the department also in coordination with other departments of the university performing administrative tasks (backup, user rights, device and software maintenance), optimizing client management Granting access rights, license management and administration of common office products and other in-house solutions Consultation of users and procurement preparation of hardware and software as well as support and commissioning of new components and introduction of new users and guests Pre- and post-processing of electrical device tests (DGUV V3)

Complete technical vocational training, preferably as a specialist:in Multiannual professional experience with very good knowledge in the field of enduser operating systems and standard software (preferably Windows) and the operating company of medium or large organisations or first experience in the special requirements of IT support of universities Knowledge in the field of incident management, user advice, structured working methods and sound knowledge in first-level support are expected Experiences in other operating systems or relevant certification(s) are advantageous Basic knowledge of network techniques (TCP/IP, switches) and server or LAN/WLAN administration (Windows-AD, firewall rules, NAS, LAMP, virtualization) Comprehensive and always up-to-date knowledge in the care of hybrid working environments Reliable, independent and structured operation, pronounced service orientation, team, communication and presentation capability Experience in public procurement is advantageous Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C2 level) and good knowledge of English Willingness to take over tasks in adjacent areas of activity (e.g. application development or conference and AV media technology) Willingness to cooperate closely in the future with the central IT department of the university (ITMZ) Hands-on mentality with craftsmanship
