The Klinikum Lippe is a university maximum provider with 1,200 stationary beds and 27 clinics and institutes in municipal sponsorship. The Klinikum Lippe is part of the Health Lippe Group. At the three locations of the clinic – in Detmold, in Lemgo and in Bad Salzuflen, 2,800 employees provide 50,000 stationary cases per year and 120,000 outpatient patients. The clinic has ambulances for prenatal diagnosis (DEGUM II), child and youth ecology and dysplasias of the cervix and vulva. In the certified breast centre of Lemgo, more than 200 women are operated with mammary carcinoma each year.
