The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Prignitz offers a habitat and meeting place for children, young people and parents. Our help from a single source includes children's day-trips, early help, educational counselling, youth and school social work, a multi-generation house, a children's and youth campus centre and the urban children's village with two children's and youth groups, as well as two mother/ father-child groups in Wittenberge. Â Â At our location in Wittenberge, we are looking for a moment Senior Consultant (m/w/d) / Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time or part-time (min. 20 - max. 38.5 h/w)Â The pedagogical team of our group supports up to nine children and young people (from 6 years). Our goal is to provide the supervised children and young people with a self-employed and responsible way of life. The school performance is particularly important. Important components of our educational concept are: reliability, value and security. For our activating and competent educational work, we use the extensive possibilities offered by the city of Wittenberge and the other offers of our children's village. Your task: Â Your tasks include: You create a stimulating and structured environment where children and young people can develop. Here you value a varied and creative everyday and leisure design that meets the individual needs of children and young people In the learning time and in the school challenges, you are helping children and young people with advice and action, increasing their concentration and motivation and helping them to achieve learning goals You work closely with schools, therapists, youth and other external partners to provide comprehensive care and support for children and young people. You ensure the safety and well-being of children and adolescents by keeping in mind the legal and conceptual requirements a careful and transparent documentation of your educational work and the writing of reports on the need for help and the course of help are self-confident. You thus contribute to the quality assurance and further development of our offers You have a vigilant eye on the well-being of children and adolescents and act responsibly in suspicion of child welfare. You actively contribute to the implementation of child and care protection

You have a degree as a state-approved educator*in or a completed study of social education Ideally, you have already gained experience in stationary youth assistance, which gives you a deep understanding of the complex challenges in working with children and adolescents You maintain an open, facing and clear approach to parents, children and young people. Their approach is characterized by an honest and value-giving interest in individual situations of life and the common search for solutions Their mode of operation is characterized by self-being and aiming. You have a reflected permeability and also preserve your humor in challenging situations You bring your ideas and experiences into the further development of our educational concept and implement new approaches in practice You are ready to work in the educational shift service and bring the necessary flexibility for spring, freight and weekend and holiday services. You understand the change of services as an important part of a relationship-oriented and relative maintenance Your handling of things and distance to the supervised persons is professional You have a class B licence, which allows you to get the necessary equipment for your daily work
