Support, maintenance and optimization of automation and control systems (in particular SPS, SCADA, HMI) Programming, parameterization and commissioning of control, drive and safety systems Error analysis and sustainable troubleshooting of complex production plants Conducting tests (system, function and integration tests) and creating technical documentation Working with modernization, retrofit and digitization projects (including MES) Coordination of external service providers and close cooperation with internal departments (e.g. maintenance, production, IT/MES and OT-Security) Participation in OT security and network concepts
Take this with you: Complete training as an automation engineer, electronics engineer for automation technology, mechatronics technicians or a comparable qualification Experience in operation or maintenance of industrial automation systems Funded knowledge in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal Experience in handling HMI and SCADA systems (e.g. WinCC, or comparable systems) knowledge of drive technology, especially in parameterization and troubleshooting (e.g. SEW, Lenze or Danfoss) Knowledge in industrial networks and fieldbus systems (e.g. Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP / RTU) Advantage: Continuing training for state-tested technicians or masters in the field of automation and/or Electrical engineering First experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and MES systems Basic knowledge of OT security (e.g. network segmentation, firewalls, IEC 62443) Personal: Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Team capability and willingness to call (depending on the field of application) Language skills: German: fluent in word and writing English: Good knowledge
