Project Manager Startup Ecosystem & Start-up Support (m/f/d)

The Stuttgart region – there are almost 2.8 million people living in a conurbation room, which unites like hardly any other economic power and quality of life. The Economic Promotion Region Stuttgart GmbH (WRS) is responsible for the regionally significant economic promotion in the Stuttgart region. Our activities include investor and communal services, the construction and operation of technology, industry and thematic networks, activities for specialist security, and national and international location marketing. The Stuttgart region has a large and diverse start-up ecosystem, characterized by many active talents, a variety of programs and funding opportunities, an excellent research landscape, an innovative industry and a strong middle class. The regional start-up ecosystem is to be further optimized, particularly in the areas of coordination, visibility, networking and access to growth capital. Against this background, the Economic Promotion Region Stuttgart GmbH (WRS) pursues the goal of developing the regional start-up ecosystem in a targeted manner, of combining the central actors more optimally and of making regional start-up offers and start-up activities more visible nationally and internationally. For this task we are looking for an immediately or at the next time Projektleiterin Startup-Ökosystem & Founding Funding (w/m/d) (full-time, only limited to two years)

Networking, bundling and switching of regional start-up support offers Further development, positioning and coordination of the regional start-up ecosystem for better perception of offers, actors and contact persons Network work with project partners, start-ups, funding providers and investors Marketing and public relations for start-up activities in the Stuttgart region Implementation of measures and events to network start-ups and promote cooperation with established companies and with science Improving access to finance and investors, especially in the deep-tech sector Support for the attractiveness of the Startup Region Stuttgart for international startups, cooperation with regional companies and the establishment of international startups cooperation in the development, application and implementation of support projects on regional, national and European level Project management, budget monitoring and reporting The tasks are implemented in close coordination and cooperation with the team leader and the project team.

Complete university studies or comparable qualification Experiences with start-up funding, start-up ecosystems and network coordination Technology understanding and interest, especially in deep-tech topics Experiences in project management and project coordination, organizational talent Experiences Marketing and Communication in the Start-up Area Teamability, safe and sympathetic appearance, independent work Very good presentation and moderation capability for events Good knowledge of modern digital working and communication worlds Very good, reliable English knowledge Good knowledge of the economic region of Stuttgart is advantageous
