Safety & Compliance Engineer System Safety, Export Control and Compliance (m/f/d)

As a Safety & Compliance Engineer, you make sure our systems are safe and our processes are legally compliant. You are responsible for System Safety, Export Control and Approval Management and are contact persons for authorities – a role with real responsibility in the technical field. You conduct FHA, FMEA and FTA analyses You are responsible for export control and approval management You create safety concepts for test benches and flight tests You communicate with authorities and relevant bodies You build compliance processes and care for them You support certification and approval processes

That's what you bring: Complete study of engineering, (economic) law or a comparable subject area Knowledge of German export control law for weapons systems (AWG, KWKG) Experience with System Safety Methods Structured, document-intensive operation and understanding of complex technical systems Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English Nationality of an EU or NATO Member State (except the USA) and readiness to review the security under SÜG desirable / of advantage: Experience with the BAAINBw, aviation or security authorities ITAR and international compliance experience Knowledge of military development and approval processes
