The Technical Information Library (TIB) is a foundation of public law of the State of Lower Saxony. With around 600 employees and an budget of around 60 million euros, it is one of the largest information infrastructure facilities in Germany. As a German Central Library of Technology and Natural Sciences, our pioneering services ensure the infrastructural requirements of high-quality information and literature supply for research in science and industry. The TIB, program area A, stock development and metadata, is looking for a:n for the team Graue Literature on 01.01.2027 Information Manager (m/w/d) The part-time job is limited to one year and includes a regular weekly working time of 25.85 hours. The grouping takes place in the pay group 9b TV-L. With the TIB AV portal, we offer an innovative, continuously evolved platform to discover, use and publish science in video format vividly and understandably. You strengthen the team of Graue Literature and participate in the systematic recruitment and process of legally secure, citative publication of science videos and other non-textual materials from the field of technology and natural science. You acquire audiovisual media for the provision in the TIB AV portal, work with the pre- and post-processing of license agreements and submit the contractual documentation in the rights management system You enter the metadata and enter it into the Media Asset Management System (MAM) You work at the interface between acquisition and publication of AV media in the TIB AV portal

You bring a completed, ideally media- and communication-oriented (special) university degree (diploma / Bachelor - e.g. in information, media or communication science, library science or in a related subject with You prove negotiation skills and endurance when obtaining consent declarations and license agreements to be signed You have good English language skills in word and writing Knowledge in XML, XSD, XSLT and data transfer interfaces such as SOAP, OAI and API are desirable You have a high communication capability and a pronounced service and customer orientation
