The Ev. Diakonissenkrankenhaus Leipzig is a hospital for basic and regular care as well as an academic teaching hospital at the University of Leipzig with a capacity of 250 beds. Leipzig is a modern city at the heart of time with an interesting and diverse cultural offer. We are part of the AGAPLESION association. In the interdisciplinary emergency room about 20,000 patients are treated in the year. The interdisciplinary emergency intake has been certified according to the DGINA® criteria since 2017. The Manchester Triage System is implemented. Our emergency room is equipped with a shock room, aseptic surgery, a wake-up room and a total of 13 surveillance and monitoring places. In close cooperation, a stand-by practice of the Kassenmedizin Association is operated at the site. We are looking for a full-time chief physician (m/w/d) for our interdisciplinary emergency.

Your profile:

• They have successfully completed specialist training in subjects ideally internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia or general medicine
• They lead the additional development Clinical acute and emergency medicine
• You have already gained extensive knowledge and experience in managing and organizing an interdisciplinary emergency
• With your strong social competence, the promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation with the other clinics and professional groups of the house is a key concern to you.
• You know why flexibility, ease of use and loadability are important for this position.

Your tasks:

• The control of the emergency recording and its interfaces, as well as the professional and organizational further development of the interdisciplinary emergency recording is your passion.
• With pleasure, you will find the guidance, further development and supervision of the medical team and training of the assistant physician:inside.
• The maintenance of emergency and interface communication (e.g. domestic physicians, rescue service, insurance, etc.) is a key to success for you.
