Take over PnL responsibility for defined portfolio segments. Continuous analysis of relevant electricity markets and price signals, in particular Day Ahead, Intraday, Date markets, FCR, aFRR and mFRR. development, evaluation and implementation of marketing strategies for direct marketing; Flexibility marketing, PPAs and structured products. Development and optimization of balancing strategies for balancing energy and trading strategies for the Intraday market. Identification, quantification and management of commercial risks, in particular price risks, balancing energy risks, forecast risks, availability risks, risks arising from PPAs and regulatory risks. Current assessment of the Performance portfolio based on revenues, margins, risks, forecast quality, availability and opportunity costs. Development of data-based decision bases for trade, product development, sales and management. Translation of market requirements into specific requirements for systems, processes, data, models and optimization logics. Close cooperation with trading, operations, data science, software engineering, sales and product management. Active development of processes, models and python based tools for better portfolio control.

Complete studies in economics, energy, mathematics, physics, engineering or a comparable quantitative subject. Multiannual experience in energy marketing, ideally in direct marketing, intraday trading, balance sheet management, PPA structuring or regulatory energy marketing. Deep understanding of the German electricity markets, in particular Day Ahead, Intraday, Terminemarkt, Equalisation Energy, Regulatory Energy, Balance Sheets, PPAs and Direct Marketing. Very good commercial understanding and the ability to translate market opportunities into concrete revenues. Experience with PnL Responsibility, portfolio performance, risk indicators or commercial control. Designed analytical and quantitative skills to assess market opportunities, risks and marketing strategies. Safe handling of complex data, time series, market models and energy-economic assessment logics. Good python knowledge, especially for data analysis, automation, back testing and prototyping. Ability to form independent hypotheses, to set up analyses, to interpret results and to derive concrete recommendations for action from them. Very independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation. Willingness to take responsibility for economic results and prepare decisions under uncertainty. Very good understanding of regulatory framework conditions, in particular EEG, Redispatch, REMIT, prequalification and energy-economic market processes. Very good knowledge of German and English.
