Number: MER000403E Our Mercedes-Benz Cars Purchasing and Supplier Quality division deals with future trends long before our customers can experience these technologies in the vehicle. Our employees work here at the interface between classic automotive business and the implementation of innovative developments in and around the vehicle - and worldwide at our locations in Germany, USA, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina. Our team is involved in the running gear in the project phases before series start from the A-Class to the GLS-Maybach. We ensure the quality, dates and numbers of axle components such as axle carriers, axle arms, wheel carriers etc. worldwide. We consider various production technologies such as assembly, forging, welding, etc. These challenges include: Preparation, implementation and follow-up of management and supplier discussions

Cross-functional, international cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, as well as our overseas locations USA and China

Working in the operational quality business such as on-site visits to suppliers to discuss or analyze technical topics

Project-related, administrative creation and evaluation of KPIs and quality indicators (e.g. elaborations in Excel, PowerPoint, One Note)

Analysis, application and development of AI methods in the team and in the department

Support for technical and complex analyses as part of a problem with the supplier

The activity can begin from May 2026.

Study programme in the field of economic engineering, mechanical engineering or other engineering studies

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Practical experience with the preparation of presentation documents

Engagement, reliability and team capability

Analytical thinking and strategic working
