Commercial management (m/f/d)

Finance & Controlling Responsibility for the entire accounting of both universities, including the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB (individual accounts per company) Several companies: Client/Society Care incl. Intercompany votes and reporting at carrier level budget, forecast and liquidity planning including scenario calculations; Cost center/project controlling (studies, research/third-party projects) KPI and Management Reporting to the President:in and to the Society according to governance further development of processes & tools (computer workflow, digital documents, ERP/interface optimization; Four eye principle, GoBD) Ensuring tax compliance (in particular USt in education) and documentation of relevant policies Head of contact:in for tax advisors, auditors and the tax office Strategic personnel work (internal) strategic advice from managers; Development of HR Directives & Benefits Structure of HR metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, fluctuation, sick rate) and support in the recruiting process Responsibility for communication with the HdWM works council Guided tours and cooperation Professional and disciplinary leadership of the associated teams incl. Resource planning, coaching and further development close cooperation with the administrations of universities; Coordination with other functional areas (teaching, research, IT, purchasing) Supplier and contract management (e.g. IT/service and rental contracts) incl. Cost optimization & SLA control at HdWM and in close cooperation with the management of the IB University Governance & Reporting (Company Circle) Report line as well as information obligation: technical & disciplinary to shareholders

Must-have Completed business studies or commercial training with further education (e.g. balance sheet holder:in IHK) 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounting/controlling and in HR administration; secure HGB completion, routine in handling StB/WP Practice in Budget/Forecast, liquidity planning and internal payroll control leadership experience (team management or stellv management) Safe handling of relevant software solutions; very good Excel knowledge in German and fluent in English (min. B2/C1); structured, pragmatic mode of operation Nice-to-have Experience in the field of higher education, project/third-party control and multi- entity setups Knowledge of USt specifics in education, GoBD/DSGVO Practice, Contract/Supplier Management Experience in dealing with an works council
