Social Pedagogical Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a pedagogical specialist for parental work / social education*in for K19 children's center in Geislingen.

Range of jobs: 40–80% Duration of employment: limited to three years Position: at the next possible time Agapedia has been Jürgen Klinsmann's Children's Fund since 1995 and operates two children's centres in Germany in the field of open child and youth work. In the facilities in Esslingen and Geislingen, children between the ages of six and twelve learn social skills and opportunities to make their leisure useful. The children's centres are a place of non-formal and intercultural learning. We offer creative and artistic design, sport, game and various AGs under the week, e.g. sports and circus disciplines. We also organize various creative holiday programs and promotions for our children who come from many different nations. Agapedia is responsible for implementing a three-year model project of the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project is aimed at 6 to 12-year-old third-country children and their families. The aim is to promote sustainable integration and social inclusion through early educational and participation opportunities. Central building blocks are the theoretical and practical qualification of parents, creative and group-oriented workshop offers for children and the active promotion of exchange with the host society. The project expands the existing range of rules.

Support in implementing the AMIF project at the respective location Extraction of participants the establishment and implementation of parental work; Course development and management Support for integration: support for parents in language education and understanding the German education and administration system. Completed studies or training in the field of social work, social education or comparable qualifications Experience in working with adults, especially in parenting or migration work Joy of creative, socially oriented and practical pedagogy Intercultural competence and sensitivity for different life situations Organisational skills and joy in the conceptual design of a new project Teamability, self-initiative and reflectivity Additional language skills are welcome, but no requirement Understanding Christian Values
