Team Leader Legal and Human Resources, specializing in debt counselling (m/f/d)

Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of 2–3 lawyers and a staff member, including training, feedback and development talks Responsibility for use and holiday planning within the team Ensuring a consistently high level of consulting quality while continuously optimizing existing processes and workflows Observation and assessment of current jurisdiction and relevant legislative changes Participation in the selection and recruitment of new employees Own processing of complex legal issues in the area of debt counselling in the daily business, including the legal assessment of viability and remediation potential Implementation of out-of-court attempts to reach agreement with creditors and support in the protection of the pawn and the defence of enforcement measures Preparation of consumer insolvency proceedings incl. Residual debt relief (§ 305 et seq. InsO) Close cooperation with internal teams to ensure efficient case management

Completed study of law (1st or 2nd State exams) incl. Practice experience in debt counselling, insolvency law and/or enforcement Experience in the professional leadership of employees or the clear ambition to assume leadership responsibility Knowledge of how to deal with the Civil Procedure Code (ZPO) and the rules of the Insolvency Regulation on consumer insolvency (InsO). Ideally also knowledge in the Law on Forced Auction and Forced Administration (ZVG) Knowledge of debt management or debt collection Ability to further develop employees and promote self-responsibility and professional self-employment German language skills in word and writing Safe occurrence and pronounced communication and decision-making competence High empathy in dealing with clients in economically difficult situations Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented working methods and openness for new approaches Strong economic understanding and analytical thinking
