This is what R' • Management of the central VMware server farm and its systems • 2nd and 3rd level support for internal IT requests • Installation, configuration and maintenance of server systems and services in our locations worldwide • Working with CENIT Group's Microsoft Cloud Services Administration • Ensuring secure IT operation by adhering to specific security requirements • Supporting the areas of expertise in building and operating specific server systems according to their requirements • Update management and execution of release or patch level roll-outs in our server environment • Working with internal IT projects and introducing new technologies • Documentation of IT processes and creation of instructions for the internal knowledge database

What you bring • Complete training in IT, e.g. as a specialist informant or comparable qualification • Very good knowledge of common IT systems, in the server hardware and operating systems Windows Server 2019+ • Good knowledge in the management of virtual server environments, especially VMware • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services Administration • High problem-solving competence, customer orientation and responsibility • Pleasure to solve technical problems and to support colleagues • High level of service orientation, reliability and structured operation • intrinsic motivation, flexibility and team player skills • Embossed communication skills in German and English (word and writing)
