Development, maintenance, optimization and operation of the HDI Global Specialty SE core insurance system (Winsure eNora) Implementation of new parts of the program with the gravity of interfaces to in- and external systems, including via SOAP and REST APIs Implementation of Release Deployments and Quarterly Conclusions incl. Reporting for Finance Responsibility for the Lifecycle and Licensing Management of Progress OpenEdge and participation in the patch and security management of the operating system Incident, change and problem management for the affected applications in cooperation with internal and external service providers: Consultation of Product Owner, Key User and Partners Observing and evaluating innovations in the context of Progress OpenEdge and its sensual use in the enterprise, taking into account the regu­lationary requirements

Successfully completed studies, preferably (economic) infor­mation or comparable training with corresponding professional experience in IT A desire for cooperation in a cross-functional team with the possibility of direct participation in the development of the services offered in an international, growth-oriented environment Experience in progress-OpenEdge development, ideal experience in object-oriented programming (Progress Developer Studio) Good knowledge of OpenEdge Data Base and App Server as well as experience in the operation of OpenEdge-based applications and knowledge in at least one integration board form Good knowledge of the Microsoft Infrastructure stack (Server, Client, Active Directory) as well as Azure DevOps, Git and ITIL and additional cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS) are advantageous Targeted and self-employed working, empathy and joy in direct collaboration with key users: women, test management and IT skills: Safe, open and service-oriented appearance, excellent teamability and excellent communication behaviour also in international contexts German and English on C1 level Ready to use occasional work outside the normal working time (e.g. for release operations) No one is perfect and not all career paths are straight.
