Biofrontera is a medium-sized, listed specialty pharmaceutical company in the field of dermatology that focuses on the further development and distribution of innovative drugs for photodynamic therapy and medical cosmetics. Based on our centralised European and our US approvals, we distribute our products with around 100 employees worldwide. Among the most important products is Ameluz®, a prescription drug for treating light skin cancer and its precursors. The use of our medicine is done with our medical devices BF-RhodoLED®/-US and BF-RhodoLED XL (red light LED lights). The BF-RhodoLED® has been certified in the EU since 2012 and BF-RhodoLED®-US has been approved as a combination product in the USA since 2016.

Technical Coordination & Governance Technical coordination and support of the accounting processes of the Biofrontera Group with several German companies and branches in Spain and the UK Overarching coordination of financial topics and projects in close cooperation with Finance and Controlling Producing transparency through project progress and dependencies within ongoing finance and accounting projects Overarching coordination of the preparation and preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB (GuV, balance sheet, cash flow accounting, equity level, annex, position report) in cooperation with the participating areas Contribution to ensuring consistent and comprehensible results Coordination of preparation and provision of information for consolidated financial statements pursuant to IFRS/IAS Ensuring uniform principles for intercompany settlements Technical examination and monitoring of the preparation of tax returns Processing and technical clarification of commercial and tax issues Consolidation & consolidated financial statements Technical support for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS incl. Annex Voting with local accounting and finance units in Germany, Spain and the UK Participation in the preparation of the Group Management Report Coordination and professional support of audits by auditors Preparation and coordination of financial data for external assessment reports Processes, systems & projects Technical support of the implementation of the requirements of the Internal Control System (IKS) Identification and initiation of optimization potentials in internal financial processes with a focus on efficiency, standardization and digitalization Project-related participation and technical control in the implementation and further development of our new ERP system Business Central Interfaces & Cooperation Central technical interface between finance and controlling for joint projects and questions Close cooperation with the CFO on conceptual, structural and strategic financial issues Reliable technical contact for auditors, tax advisers, banks and financial authorities Analysis and follow-up of actual numbers as well as derivation of technical requirements IT & System High IT affinity and pronounced process understanding Very safe handling of MS Office (especially Excel) Experience with ERP systems, ideally Business Central / Microsoft Dynamics Navision

At least 10 years of relevant professional experience as Senior Project Manager in Finance / Accounting Graduate degree in Business / Economics with a focus on Accounting / Finance or commercial training with further training to the audited account holder (IHK) Multiannual, well-founded professional experience in accounting and in complex financial structures Very good knowledge of HGB, Tax Law, IFRS/IAS and Internal Control System (IKS) Relevant experience in carrying out and accompanying financial audits (audits) Personal competencies Embossed analytical and conceptual skills Very good self-organization and structured, precise and quality-conscious operation High self-responsibility and implementation Communication strength and sovereign appearance at the level of expertise and project Of course, professional handling of confidential information Languages Very good German knowledge of word and writing English language skills
