As an IT Business Engineer with a focus on (generic) AI, you actively shape the digital transformation of REWE Group. In the field of research & innovation, you identify technological trends with your interdisciplinary team at an early stage, test new approaches and translate promising solutions into practice. You take responsibility in strategic AI initiatives, work closely with disciplines and IT and act as a central interface to internal and external stakeholders – including top management.

The place is limited to 12 months.

Tasks that keep you posted: You think ahead: With your sense of innovation and your proactive way of working, you identify potentials and develop solutions that shape the workplace of tomorrow. You advise professionally and technically: As part of our AI hub, you support teams in identifying and implementing AI-Use Cases – from requirement analysis to selection of suitable AI tools You bring Prompt competence with you: you understand the difference between simple and complex prompts, optimize their use and adapt these already regularly in your working day. You know about current AI technologies: M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Azure or Google Vertex AI are familiar to you. You can communicate new functionalities in a comprehensible manner and present them convincingly in demos. You moderate with passion: Whether workshops or promptathons - as part of the internal enablement - you design and design new formats that awaken curiosity, impart knowledge and inspire. You are so confident: You are responsible for projects in the field of (generative) AI, develop decision templates and present results at management level. You are a bridge builder:in: You ask for the coordination between business, IT and external partners: within – strategic, solution-oriented and with a view to the greatest possible impact. You're empowering others: As part of the AI hub, the knowledge transfer within the REWE Group actively advances and develops formats, tools and networks to strengthen AI competence.

A completed study, e.g. in business informatics, BWL or a comparable field – but your relevant practice experiences are more important. Experience in working with AI technologies and/or GenAI platforms. Knowledge in project management, ideally in agile environment. Fun on communication at eye level – also with decision-makers: inside (top) management. Ability to translate complex technology solution in easily understandable language for different disciplines and to inspire AI.
