Head of Department for IT Policy and Compliance (m/f/d)

Leadership and Building: You build the IT Principle and Compliance Unit, guide and manage it professionally and humanly and bear responsibility. IT strategy and architecture: You develop a future-oriented IT strategy and IT architecture for on-premise and cloud solutions, including AI applications. Regulatory conformity: You are responsible for the policy work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal/external policies (for example DORA, BSI standards, data protection, GoBD). Process and method development: You introduce processes and methods and develop them further, including for outsourced or IT service providers supported. Staff management: In this role guide, coach and develop your employees and take over their performance assessment. Representation: You represent the IT department management in technical, organizational and strategic matters.

Education: You have completed academic studies, ideally in (technical or applied) computer science, economic informatics or industrial engineering or business administration with IT focus or equivalent knowledge and experience. Experience and knowledge: You can demonstrate multi-year professional and personal leadership experience in the IT environment. Expertise: You bring very good understanding of IT and strategy and can create, evaluate and develop strategy components. In addition, you have practical experience with regulatory issues as well as the ability and experience to establish processes and methods and continuously develop them. Personality: Very good communicative skills in German (Mother Language/C1) and English (C2) combined with strong relationship management, team orientation and high sense of responsibility bring you with. Working methods: Analytical thinking skills, structured work, number-based action, problem-solving competence and enforcement capability are the key features.
