The SOS Children's Village Vorpommern offers differentiated work and housing opportunities for adults with mental impairment in the area of integration aid. In the context of child and youth assistance, we operate an integration skinder daycare with an external nature and forest kindergarten group. Furthermore, our family centres in Grimmen and Barth offer various low-swelling offers of family education, early help, youth social work and migration advice. The help for education supplements our offers at the Grimmen and Barth sites. For our SOS Children's Village Vorpommern we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/Where.)

As part of the intercultural advisory work, you make an important contribution to the social, linguistic and professional integration of young and adult immigrants. You accompany the target group in the individual integration process and strengthen the participation in social life through network work, group offers and professionally sound individual consultations. You advise immigrants young people and adults in accordance with the guidelines of the BAMF (MBE) and LAGuS in their professional, linguistic and social integration You teach language courses and support social pedagogical participants in integration courses You advise on residence law issues, family reunifications, educational issues, career orientation and labour market integration You conduct crisis consultations and provide short-term assistance to bridge acute vulnerabilities You take over referral and short consultations and communicate in further, suitable support offers You plan, document and conduct individual case consultations by the case management procedure You initiate educational and informative group offers (e.g. information events on kita and school registration, right of residence, holiday offers) You organize integrative group activities in the district (e.g. language cafés, drum workshops, remediation, language tandems) You work actively in the local network with authorities, schools, job centers, associations and other institutions You participate in the implementation and further development of the conceptual work of the institution pay attention to the conscientious implementation of child and care protection
