Employee in the Consultant Service Dementia/Delirium (m/w/d)

The Robert Bosch Hospital is a central hospital supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation with functions of maximum care at several locations. Hospital operations with over 3,000 employees include 17 specialist departments in various medical centres, an educational centre and research institutes. This structure offers a wide range of possibilities for development for employees. The consiliar service for people with dementia and/or delir at the RBK ensures guidance-oriented and individual care of the patients:inside. Supported by consulting, training and accompaniment of all professional groups in dealing with complex situations, it involves members, promotes interdisciplinary cooperation and contributes to the prevention of complications. In addition, it strengthens the patient-centric supply and the further development of supply quality and structures. The team is composed of specialists in medicine and care.

Conducting consiliar activity with support in the care diagnostic assessment of patients: women with dementia, cognitive limitations or delir risk Participation in the planning and implementation of individual treatment and care strategies (non-medical measures, medicamentary recommendations in cooperation with the medical team)

Monitoring and training of relatives in dealing with dementia or delirsymptoms Participation in case reviews and case analyses as well as recommendations for delirpreventive environment design at stations Participation in quality assurance measures, e.g. through documentation, evaluation and participation in subprojects Active design of the intersectoral care of supervised patients in the consiliary service together with the CHN in the PORT-Zentrum Location City

Professional or academically qualified nursing professional at bachelor level and/or nurses with specialist training (intensive / anesthesia, Gerontopsychiatrie or comparable specialist training) Multiannual professional experience in the care of patients: women with dementia and/or delir Interest in the topics dementia, delir and cognitive restrictions in hospital context Basic knowledge of clinical assessment and care of patients:inside with dementia or delir, willingness to further qualify High communicative competence and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation Ability to understand training content and to sensitize employees readiness to actively contribute to the development of supply quality and prevention measures Independent, structured working and team skills
