In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. Our team is working across the project on-board diagnostics (OBD) for the Mercedes-AMG engines, here both the highly emotional conventional drives and the performance hybrids. The functions of the OBD error memory and the Generic Scan Tool Communication are included in our responsibility area. In addition, we coordinate the development of OBD across the project in cooperation with the relevant departments and ensure the highest possible quality of diagnostic functions in future products. In future, we will also assist in securing and validating on-board diagnostics (OBD) of the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles. As an intern*in, the following challenges come to you: You support building OBD backup in virtual environments (SiL/HiL) You help with visibility, evaluation and preparation of backup tests You will see the development of the testing strategy for OBD sizes in MB.OS You create a Kanban Board to increase efficiency of work processes You are responsible for the automation of work steps within the team
