HAW-Postdoc für Spatial AI (w/m/d) 14 TV-L | Reference number BGG 08/26 At the Jade Hochschule Wilhelmshaven/Oldenburg/Elsfleth, in the field of construction geoinformation health technology at the Oldenburg campus at the Geoinformation department at the earliest possible time, the aforementioned site is to be occupied by 100%, limited until 31 August 2030. With the research project „Potenziale strategically unfolding“ the Jade Hochschule takes a decisive step towards the development of an identity as an AI university. It is funded by 7.7 million euros from funds from the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony (MWK) and the Volkswagen Foundation in the “future.lower Saxony”. The tasks of the enrolled body in research and research management relate to the subproject “Establishment of an AI Center with Focus on Spatial AI” as well as to the working group of the Scientific Director (WL) Prof. Dr. Sascha Koch. The enrolled position is therefore of great importance for the development of the Jade Hochschule zur KI-Hochschule as well as the profiling in the field of Spatial AI. Spatial AI is understood to mean the intelligent combination of artificial intelligence – from machine learning to generative AI – with spatial information to create added value for applications. The site will enable further qualification by developing its own research profile in the field of Spatial AI, including third-party acquisitions and by developing management competencies in the research context. In addition, teaching experience can be expanded to the extent to which it is to be discussed. The further qualification objectives are jointly prioritized by the Scientific Director.
