Start your future in the field of civil engineering together with the Kilian Zens Engineering Office and the IU International University (IU). In the Dual myStudium – accredited as a dual remote study – you collect your practice experience in the company and learn the theory to be 100% virtual, complemented by optional digital accompanying events.

The engineering office Zens is active in the field of technical building equipment (TGA) and supports contractors and project partners in the planning and implementation of technical installations in buildings. These include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary and utility technology. As part of your dual study, you will gain comprehensive insights into the technical planning of construction projects and actively participate in the development and implementation of modern building technology.

You support the planning of technical building equipment (TGA) in the areas of heating, ventilation, climate and sanitation You create and edit technical drawings and plan documents You participate in the design and dimensioning of technical installations and are part of the project processing and documentation You support the coordination with builders, architect:inside and other project participants You will occasionally participate in construction site visits and accompaniment of construction projects on site and gain insights into construction monitoring and the implementation of technical planning concepts

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You have a class B driver's license and ideally your own vehicle and live in a regional area of about 20 km to the company You are interested in construction, technical connections and modern building technology You have a structured and reliable way of working You bring willingness to learn and initiative and joy in communication with Career prospects:
