Technical overall responsibility for the database landscapes and technical coordination of the team Control of team-specific projects and continuous development of processes and services Planning, design and development of database landscapes Installation, configuration and administration of database systems - in particular MySQL and Informix Monitoring and continuous optimization of performance, capacity and availability of databases in close cooperation with server administration Control and coordination of external service providers as well as performing operational system work including scripting and automation Ensuring stable and trouble-free operation by proactive trouble shooting and using a Trouble ticket system in second and third level support Advising the Head of Division for Parent Projects and Support for Development Departments Managing access permissions and ensuring data security and data consistency
