The family support service (FUD) of the fib e.V. encourages children, young people and young adults with disabilities to participate in society in a self-determined manner.

The basis of our work is a trusting, always address-oriented action, supported by the close cooperation between assistants and families and expertly accompanied by our specialists. We are looking for the work area “Family Support Service” in Stadtallendorf to strengthen our team at the next possible time

Pedagogical (m/w/d) in parttime with 18 hours per week, first terminated

Your profile:

• completed studies of social work, social education, education and training or comparable educational qualifications

Tasks:

• Educational and psychosocial support and promotion of young adults with cognitive impairments
• Reflection and professional support even in challenging behaviors and complex support needs
• Perception and promotion of individual development steps and resources of our customers
• Professional support and support of our assistants
• Cooperation with other institutions and authorities

We wish:

• Experience in individual support of people with disabilities
• Pleasure to accompany young people in their development – even if the support can initially be challenging
• A valuable and resource-oriented attitude and the ability to perceive development steps and to develop them together with the customers:
