With 19 modern beds the station F21A is a central point of contact for highly complex Intensive medicine and takes a special role in the Klinikum Stuttgart one: as the only station she puts the emergency team and is also on the specialized supply of ECMO clients:inside. The interdisciplinary emergency – with integrated Monitoring station/desicion unit (DU) and Chest Pain Unit (CPU) in Katharinenhospital is one of the largest emergencies in Stuttgart and supervises approx. 40,000 emergency patients:inside from all medical areas. A multi-professional team together all emergencies according to the most modern standards.

IMPLEMENTATION:

• Implementation and support of our patients: diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Protection of basic and treatment care and implementation of Medical care interventions
• Patient care and monitoring: both before and after Intervention measures
• Implementation of pre- and post-operative care and monitoring
• Implementation and monitoring of infusion therapies
• Recognition of emergency situations and independent start Reanimation measures
• Control of pain therapy
• Patient monitoring and care:inside and de pampering of the respirator in cooperation with internalist departments
• Continuous renal replacement procedure
• Control of wounds and execution of needs Exchange of letters
• Planning and organization of daily workflow
• Cooperative cooperation with other professional groups
