You are burning for AI and want to shape the future of German trade? Then you will join us! As a senior project manager in the field of Analytics AI Strategy & Enablement, you have the opportunity to give decisive impulses for digitalization and automation in trade. You decisively shape the shopping experience of millions of REWE and PENNY customers in the German food trade and constantly respond to challenging AI projects.

You are proactive: independent identification of optimization potentials, introduction of innovative approaches and continuous advancement of solutions that shape the trade of the future.

You have an overview: monitoring and coordination of various AI initiatives, ensuring their coordination and integration into the entire corporate strategy and identifying synergies for maximum value added.

You are ahead: support the strategic planning and management of projects in the field of AI and analytics with the aim of managing AI initiatives in the company.

You take the lead: development and management of KI-Enablement initiatives and projects, including detailed planning of the project structure, resource management and professional leadership of interdisciplinary teams.

You coordinate all interfaces: control internal and external stakeholders, including service providers and project staff, to ensure that all interfaces work effectively and that the project objectives are achieved.

You are a competent contact person: presentation of progress and results of our AI portfolio before (top) management and development of strategic decision templates.

Promoting AI capabilities within the Analytics Organisation and Trade Germany through targeted knowledge transfer, development of competence networks and provision of tailor-made tools and resources to promote innovation and efficiency in a sustainable manner.

You bring our vision to the outside: close cooperation with corporate communication, public affairs and employer branding to strengthen the internal and external communication of our AI initiatives and to make their strategic value visible.

What convinces us:

Highly completed university studies, preferably in the fields (economic) computer science, BWL, statistics or engineering and natural sciences.

At least 5 years of experience as a project manager / consultant, preferably in trade, a company of the consumer goods industry or a consultancy with corresponding industry focus. Ideally with demonstrable training in project management, preferably with knowledge in agile management methods – for example SCRUM.

Interest in the areas of GenAI / Analytics / Data Science / Machine Learning and Enthusiasm in how stakeholders can use these methods to better solve business problems.

Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, experiences with project management tools (e.g. Jira) and very good knowledge of German and English language complete your profile.
