EG 12 TVöD **Available from now on for the special construction and water construction department in urban drainage The special construction and water construction department of the city drainage plant in Düsseldorf is responsible with its 28 employees for the planning and construction of special construction plants and flood protection plants as well as for the development of water. In addition, the department is responsible for carrying out investment projects on the approximately 230 existing special works of the channel network. The tasks of the special construction sector include, in particular, the planning and construction of precipitation water treatment plants and pump plants, as well as the rehabilitation of existing special constructions with the structures of construction, machinery and electrical engineering using the BIM method. As an employee in the special construction sector, you implement demanding construction measures and contribute to the ordered wastewater treatment and water protection.

Your tasks include:

• Project management in the planning and construction of wastewater systems and the repair of existing special constructions with the focus on concrete technology/ concrete repair
• Call for engineering services and construction services
• Economic planning, time and cost control
• Negotiations with authorities, engineering offices, construction companies and other project participants
• Public relations, implementation of citizens' information events and presentation of projects in political bodies
• Takeover of the contractor function within the meaning of the construction site regulation for the respective project
• Perception of BIM management for the respective project.

Your profile:

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Comparative Qualification or State-certified Technicians from the above-mentioned field with many years of professional experience
• many years of professional experience, preferably in the planning and construction of wastewater systems and/or their repair
• Qualification as expert planner*in concrete maintenance is desirable
• good knowledge of HOAI and VOB are desirable
• Experiences in the BIM application are desirable
• cross-disciplinary and organisational thinking, negotiation skills, enforcement skills, pronounced communication skills and team skills
• secure mastery of the German language (at least language level C1) and of the German technical terms
• Owner of the unrestricted driving licence of Class III or EU Standard B.

If you belong to the group of technicians or masters, an Eingruppierung in EG 12 TVöD is dependent on the personal requirements and would have to be finalized once we decide for you. where appropriate, for tariff reasons, the grouping can only take place at a lower level.
