Our team Global Credit Risk Underwriting As part of our global credit risk team at the Stuttgart location, we act as a central credit institution for complex and strategically relevant financing within the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Organisation. We take over the credit risk assessment and decision of engagements that exceed the local competence limits of our international markets. We work closely with local credit teams, business units, external financing partners and senior management. Our topics range from classic corporate loans to structured financing and consortial financing to complex retail and fleet financing. Your tasks in detail: Independent analysis, structuring and credit decision of complex corporate customer, trader and structured financing transactions with international reference

Creation of sound credits and recommendations for management[1] and decision-making bodies

Credit risk assessment of large individual exposures including balance sheet, cash flow, industry and structuring analyses

Processing and monitoring of strategically relevant financing, acquisition financing and complex restructuring and special cases

Participation in structured and syndicated financing solutions together with banks and other financing partners

Function as a central credit institution for decisions above the local credit competencies of our international markets

Preparation and presentation of decision-making templates for senior executives to management and global credit bodies •

Expert advice and coaching of international credit teams in complex risk issues

Further development of credit policies, rating and decision-making processes and support for digitalisation and automation initiatives in credit risk management

Active participation of the global credit risk strategy and ensuring high quality standards in the international credit portfolio

Ideally, you bring the following: Successfully completed studies of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking or a comparable discipline

Very good knowledge of balance sheet analysis, company analysis and credit risk assessment Deep understanding of credit structures, collateral concepts and risk mitigation measures

At least five years of relevant professional experience in the credit business of a large bank, Landesbank, international commercial bank, Förderbank, Leasinggesellschaft or a Captive Financial Services company
