Department 8 – What do we do? The department 8 for building and property management operates the technical facilities in the field of electrical, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, sanitary and MSR at the locations Bochum and Heiligenhaus. These are mainly measures of construction maintenance (maintenance and maintenance) as well as restructuring and rehabilitation measures. In addition, the planning and implementation of the university location development with new buildings and refurbishment measures is one of the tasks of the department. This is mainly the user and contractor representation in the course of large construction projects with the Land NRW.

Projektingenieur (m/w/d) im Bereich Projektmanagement (EC 9B) Self-sponsored and responsible care of construction, rebuilding, refurbishment and maintenance measures at the buildings and properties of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences Active participation in the planning, preparation and implementation of construction measures taking into account the requirements of teaching, research and administration Implementation of state assessments and development of practical technical solutions Coordination and professional support of external planning offices, experts and executive companies Ensuring quality, cost and timely design Participation in the creation of performance descriptions and performance directories as well as in procurement procedures according to VOB Careful examination of offers, allowances and invoices Close and solution-oriented coordination with faculties, central institutions and other internal interfaces Monitoring of acceptances, defect tracking and structured documentation of construction measures Maintenance and updating of inventory and revision documents

Completed training as a state-tested construction technician or comparable qualification Knowledge of construction and relevant technical regulations Basic knowledge of procurement and contract law (e.g. VOB) Safe handling of standard software (e.g. MS Office), ideally knowledge of CAD applications Understanding technical and business relations Knowledge of the CAFM environment Organisational strength, communication skills and structured work
