The company's art collection was founded in 1977 and is now one of the major European corporate collections with museal quality and international reputation. The collection includes some 3,000 works by over 800 artists. The Art Collection focuses on abstract-constructive image concepts, critical-engaged art as well as representative works and commission work on topics such as automotive and design. The Mercedes-Benz Art Collection embodies the broad social commitment of Mercedes-Benz for culture and education. With the art collection, the company wants to create a recognizable benefit for the common good and to respond responsibly to social questions and developments. Promotional projects: Mercedes-Benz offers the opportunity to earn a doctoral degree in a topic of the future that is important to the company within the framework of a temporary doctoral contract (3 years).

The doctorate is awarded in Germany exclusively by universities and universities of the same type.

Requirements for an application Knowledge of international contemporary art and relevant discourses

Experience in independent project management, especially in the implementation of exhibitions
