Head of IT Technology - Digital Services (m/f/d)

As an IT-technology department, you assume the technical and technical responsibility for the further development of our digital services. You design the technical orientation, create reliable technical guidelines and ensure that requirements are transferred to sustainable, secure and sustainable IT solutions. In doing so, you combine strategic views with technical understanding and keep in mind the interaction of software development, IT operation, infrastructure, IT service and information security. In your function, you work closely with the IT management department.

Your mission: Strategic and technical development of digital services in line with corporate strategy Development of software development, software architecture, IT operation, infrastructure and technical standards Technical development and perspective modernization of existing HCL Notes/Domino landscape Technical assessment of complex requirements and development of sustainable solutions Ensuring a stable, secure and sustainable interaction of development and operation Control and quality assurance in complex IT projects and projects Assessment of technical risks, dependencies and needs of action and the introduction of technical decisions Technical support of the technical team leaderships and teams with overarching questions Monitoring of new technologies and promoting innovation and continuous technical development Take responsibility for compliance with work and health rules in connection with instructions from employees in safety matters Cooperation with business and specialist departments, external service providers, partner organisations and the MD-IT, as well as the creation of technical decision bases for IT management and the Management Board

A well-founded qualification in the IT environment, e.g. through training, study or comparable professional experience Multiannual professional experience in demanding IT environments and leadership experience A broad technical understanding of modern IT landscapes - from software development and deployment to IT operation and infrastructure to network and web technologies Found experience in software development and a good understanding of software architectures, interfaces and integrations; Knowledge of .NET/C#, Python and/or Java are advantageous Knowledge of HCL Notes/Domino, especially in development and administration Experience in the technical control of complex IT projects and in the assessment of technical risks and solutions alternatives Understanding the requirements for a stable, secure and sustainable IT operation Strategic thinking and control skills as well as the ability to prepare complex technical issues in a comprehensible and decision-oriented manner Communication and leadership, sense of responsibility and an independent and solution-oriented way of working Experience with AI-based development tools and modern development approaches is advantageous
