Area Manager Germany (m/w/d)

Together with your team, you develop the most important tkMS customers: the German contracting authority (öAG). In doing so, you act as a partner at eye level and ensure your internal needs and expectations for our company. You will inspire our demanding customers through your strategic consulting approach from our product range, not only are you, but are supported by different interfaces (sales strategists, product distributors, merchants, etc.) and your leadership. They identify and understand customer requirements/market trends/competitive situations and provide basic information for the development and cooperation of a market strategy. Through discussions with stakeholders at different levels, they gain a vision of the needs of the customer, recognize early action needs in the context of future or ongoing projects, position tkms and its capabilities in a continuous and sustainable manner and can adequately express the interests of our company. Where possible they develop sales leads and document them.

You have successfully completed your studies or have a comparable qualification. They look back on a multiannual experience in consulting sales or on comparable activities. They have relevant contacts with decision-makers, coupled with strong knowledge about the trends and developments within the maritime armor. Ideally, they were already working as a naval officer. They convince by a safe, binding and value-assuring appearance on the one hand and – especially in the team – by their open handling of strengths and weaknesses on the other. In addition, you characterize your own initiative, resilience, endurance and our joint fascination as part of a large team to bring even greater strength. As a pragmatician it is easy to keep an overview even in a complex situation and to take the next step decisively. German as a native language (expressive in word and writing) and excellent English language skills complete their exciting profile. Even if video telephony makes a lot of possible, service trips are an integral part of your activities.
