Building Services Specialist for Building and IT Technology in Schools

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg is a state company of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. In conjunction with GMH | Building Management Hamburg, we as a central service provider coordinate the new building, the renovation, maintenance and management of the approximately 400 Hamburg schools. We create advanced learning rooms, reduce CO2 emissions from school buildings and build for generations of children and young people. With our actions we make a direct contribution to the common good and invest in the future of the city. More than 1,200 employees are involved in SBH and GMH for a common goal: We create good spaces for good education. Our offices are located in an attractive city centre location on the Stadthausbrücke, just minutes from Jungfernstieg and City Hall Market.

They plan necessary maintenance and construction measures at the technical facilities of the school locations of our professional schools and school-related real estate (institutes, open air schools and VHS), mainly in the field of electrical engineering and IT networks. In the course of implementation, you control the commissioned service providers, define the quality, cost and time requirements and monitor their compliance. They advise the building and object managers: within our site teams in TGA questions. Together with our central facility management, you are driving forward the further development of building technology in Hamburg's schools.

Required University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) of a technical field (electrotechnics, building technology, utility technology, process engineering or industrial engineering) or equivalent skills and experience Advantages as two years of professional practice as possible in the above-described areas of responsibility as well as experience in electrical engineering and IT, ideally also in the field of HLS Knowledge of IT infrastructures and experiences with different servers and terminal architectures good knowledge of the recognized rules of technology, VOB and HOAI, safe handling of MS Office and ideally with a CAFM software high understanding of services, especially in cooperation with schools, as well as good analytical and conceptual skills – coupled with an independent, result-oriented approach pronounced communication and conflict resolution, sovereign appearance and good expressiveness in word and writing
