For our team Automated Scanning we are looking for a technically affine software developer who, together with us, drives innovative automated optical measurement technology at ZEISS.

in the agile team you develop high-performant code in C++ for evaluating the data of our optical measurement technology in challenging real-time application

They support the derivation and specification of requirements and work in close cooperation with the hardware development

Implementation and further development of new algorithms for the image or Data processing

in our modern and fully equipped laboratories, check your code for your data quality and runtime performance directly at the systems

You integrate and verify your code, among other things, to automated industrial robot system of the measuring cells from the Zeiss portfolio and consider the user workflow holistic

You have completed your studies with computer science

You can already apply your programming knowledge in C++ in various projects (even in the context of internships and/or student work)

They bring basic knowledge in Python with (e.g. prototyping or testing)

ideally, you have knowledge in one of these fields: image processing and/or signal processing

advantageous: English fluent in word and writing
