The Operations & Storage Unit is responsible for the customer-oriented execution of capital market services for the DZ BANK's capital market areas and its customers, as well as the tasks of the depository for capital management companies. Our securities services & digital storage department is responsible for the smooth handling of all securities transactions of DZ BANK, its direct customers and the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken and its customers. After the settlement, we will ensure the legally secure storage of the holdings and administration of all depot items for the aforementioned customer group. As a trainee in our department, exciting insights into the world of securities handling await you. You will be part of a team that develops the depot management processes of the entire cooperative financial group in close cooperation with the dwpbank. These include, inter alia, the processing of drip and maturity payments and the execution of depot transfers. In addition, you will participate in the parameter profile of the WP2 securities settlement system and assist in the creation of the depot financial statements. You also deal with current regulatory challenges such as e.g. the conversion of the settlement cycle to T+1. Trends such as the digitization of business processes and sustainable financial products offer you the opportunity to actively participate in exciting projects, including the migration of new customers. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual schedule, you will be working in the different units of the Securities Services & Digital Storage Division. The location of your activity is Düsseldorf. In addition to being used in the various groups of the department, you have the opportunity to hospite in the interface units and thus gain a comprehensive insight.

You have a successfully completed Master's degree in full-time (summary 2.5 or better) in the Department of Economics. You bring knowledge of different securities products and ideally have a basic understanding of the process of handling these products so that you can quickly work into our daily challenges. You are versed in handling the MS Office applications as these are integral tools in our daily work. If you provide first knowledge in the field of capital market operations through an internship, this is advantageous. You can express yourself in German and English (mind. C1) in a safe manner.

Perspective: You start with an indefinite contract and a salary of EUR 68,000 during and EUR 74,000 after the trainee program.
