asterdorf assistenz west – these are about 1000 employees *in 73 locations. Together we stand for empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as children and young people in Hamburg. Due to the diversity of our educational, nursing and commercial skills, we offer around 1,300 people outpatient assistance and special living forms – personalized and socially adapted to the needs of our clients. In our day works, around 300 clients work in office or garden care. We do what makes sense and strengthens education and participation. We're looking for you! The intensively supervised assistance offer is located near the S-Bahn stop Harburg-Rathaus and is easily accessible by public transport. The offer is aimed at an adult woman with challenges to assistance. She calls for diverse support in the design of her everyday life. The aim is to create a place of life, which is characterised on the one hand by personal commitment, structuring and tranquility and on the other hand provides space for personal development and development. The assistance is carried out within a 24-hour 2 to 1 assistance consisting of educational staff and security services.

An open and valuable attitude is the basis of our work. Compliance with technical standards is ensured by cooperation with intensive pedagogical specialist services and psychiatrists, as well as by the implementation of supervision and service meetings with professional support. In addition, you can specialize in subjects such as Trauma, SEED and DOKI.

Your duties

• They are guided by basic care activities, e.g. showering, dressing and brushing.
• They accompany the client in household activities, e.g. in the operation of the washing machine and in the preparation of meals.
• They support the planning of an individual daily routine and accompany in- and out-of-hand leisure activities.
• They reflect states of excitement together with the client and give emotional stability.
• They work together with Ergotherapeut innen, Fachärzt innen und Intensivpädagogische Fachdienst und implement measures taken.
• They document their activities in the context of this documentation.

Your profile

• You have a completed training as a curator in, educator in, or have a comparable qualification with professional experience in integration aid (SGB IX)
• Clear positioning towards people centering, empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities
• Valuable attitude and empathy for the needs of the client
• Open and clear communication
• Structured, independent and self-reflected working
• High motivation for team work
• Interest in continuous, professional training in particular on trauma
