At Terra Nova Campus, you take over the daily coordination of the use of the medical team and provide professional care for children and young people at Terra Nova Campus – consisting of the 3 areas of the discovery school, the residential home and full-time care. They support pedagogical work, accompany excursions and class trips and are in use both during school and holidays (not on weekends and holidays). Your tasks include:

• Implementation of all necessary medical care (medical prescribed treatment care, also basic care)
• Consultation, guidance and support of children and young people to be cared for and their references in individual dealing with health and illness, with resources and limitations
• Collaboration with the head of the Housing / Full-Day Care as Head of Service:r, with school management, teachers:inside, educators:inside, therapist:inside and parents
• cooperation in the preparation of support plans, development reports and assessments in the context of the detection procedure
• Care and guidance of trainees:inside the medical training professions and responsibility for the hygiene of the facilities

Your profile:

• Completion as a state-approved health and nursing agent:in or Health and child caregivers:in
• Driving licence class B
• for born after 31.12.1970: evidence that there is an immunity against measles

Of advantage are:

• completed or commenced rehabilitation education, special education or medical education
• Experience in treatment care work with children
