Welcome to HPA's traffic management. In the Landside Public Infrastructure (LI) division, we take over the ownership function for the local infrastructure in the Port of Hamburg. These include the light signal systems and the traffic management system with their numerous detectors, display panels and interfaces. Our 6-member team in the area of Transport Engineering Strasse is responsible for the planning and operation of the systems for traffic control, detection and data exchange and processing. Our goal is to improve traffic flows and reduce emissions with efficient use of resources. For this purpose, we continuously develop traffic management and take into account new technologies for traffic optimization.

You work in the team on studies, traffic engineering studies, concepts for optimising traffic flow and innovation in the field of LSA technology You analyse traffic and take necessary measures with the help of traffic numbers and simulations You commission transport documents (VTU) to engineering offices, check them or if required, start your own transport documents As a project manager, you commission service providers for maintenance, construction and adaptation of the light signal systems and first of all required project costs (PKU) In case of need, you serve the port traffic computer in coordination with the Hamburg traffic control center You focus on projects in the field of mobility, digitalization and intelligent transport systems, mainly in cooperation with stakeholders of transport management

You have a completed university degree in transport engineering, logistics/infrastructure/mobility, or you can demonstrate experience and knowledge of comparable activities. Experience in LISA+, node2 and AutoCAD applications has already been collected. You have knowledge of the communication standard OCIT as well as the common rules, especially the RiLSA. You will be happy to exchange with specialist departments, authorities and other stakeholders in the city and actively promote themes of traffic management. A strong interest in new developments in traffic technology and innovative solutions for traffic optimisation is yours. In addition, you bring your own initiative and willingness to learn and use for the implementation of transport projects. experience in project management is advantageous; In addition, knowledge of traffic modelling and the creation of location plans are desirable.
