The Bridge – Association for the Promotion of Reintegration mentally ill e. V. was founded in Hamburg in 1964. In the same year the association built the Psychiatric Clinic Häcklingen near Lüneburg.

Over many decades, the bridge from this site marked the development of social-psychiatric and community-based psychoatarian reform in the Northeast Lower Saxony region. This happened in 1976, inter alia, through the establishment of the social psychiatric service in Uelzen. That was a model project and a nationwide pioneer.

With its 12 locations in the region of Uelzen and Lüchow-Dannenberg, the outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary facilities provide more than 8,000 patients each year.

The aim is to continuously adapt the consulting, care and participation services to the needs of clients in the sense of a modern and modern health policy. You lead the team and take over the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment of patients:inside the entire psychiatric diagnosis spectrum in individual contacts

You are a specialist:in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are in advanced training You show openness to different therapy methods You maintain a collegial working style, have a pronounced team spirit, high social competence and work structured You are interested in working in a multi-professional team You are ready to take responsibility You have experience with clinical group work
