Temporary Receptionist (m/w/d) Temporary / Seasonal Contract at the Hotel SEEHOF am Ammersee

Our restaurant with idyllic beer garden is located directly on the longest promenade in Germany – a place with unique charm and direct views of the Ammersee. We pamper our guests with Bavarian delicacies and fresh fish specialities from local waters. The focus is on regionality, seasonality and highest quality – each dish is prepared with love and selected ingredients from the region. Our hotel has 43 comfortable rooms and is a home all year round for business travelers, meeting guests, travel groups and recreational visitors.

In the warm months we extend our range of 200 hosted places as well as 600 self-service places in the beer garden – ideal for enjoying, days or celebrations. And all this in a unique location: right at the Ammerseeufer, with a free view of the Alpine panorama – closer to the water does not go. Herrsching, located at the foot of the Andechs monastery, is only about 30 kilometres west of Munich and is easily reachable in about 30 minutes by the direct S-Bahn connection.

Telephone and personal care of our hotel guests with cordiality and service awareness

First contact person for all requests regarding the stay – from arrival to departure

Check-in and check-out, including guest information and payment processing

Processing email requests with care, friendliness and a trained look for detail

Support for general administrative tasks in the Back Office to ensure a smooth run in daily business

To strengthen our team, we are looking for dedicated support. The following operating times would be possible, inter alia: variant 1: Monday to Friday: 13:00 – 20:00 Saturday: 07:00 – 12:00 or 16:00 – 19:00 Sunday: 07:00 – 12:00 or 16:00 – 19:00 (In the summer months, the weekend can be extended until 21:00 as required.)

Variant 2: Monday - Sunday: 06:45 -15:30 or 11:00 - 19:00 (In the summer months, the weekend can be extended until 21:00 as required.)

Professional experience at reception or in a comparable function, or completed training as a hotel specialist

Very good German knowledge in word and writing, as well as good English knowledge

Routinized handling of common computer programs; ideally knowledge in Protel

Impressed communication strength and joy in working in the team and achieving goals together

Sovereign appearance, even in hectic situations – with calm, overview and friendliness

Well-kept appearance and a positive appearance

Service-oriented thinking and acting, always with a smile for our guests
