Industrial Mechanic / Machinist for Maintenance (m/f/d)

Our customer company is a successful, stable partner of the international food industry. At our traditional location in Meissen we process ultra-thin aluminium (0.18 mm thickness) to high-precision, modern packaging solutions (doses). We offer highly automated processes, modern semi-automatic systems and a strong machine park with powerful presses. In order to strengthen our team in the mechanical workshop in a sustainable manner, we are looking for several dedicated inmates with real macher mentality at the next possible time.

Your tasks precision meets technology

Maintenance & inspection: You take over the planned maintenance, inspection and preventive maintenance of our automated and semi-automatic production facilities and presses.

Troubleshooting: In case of malfunctions in the production process, locate the mechanical causes quickly and fix them independently to minimize downtime.

Workshop work: You manufacture, adapt and repair mechanical components directly in our factory mechanical workshop.

Tool & Material: They work with highly sensitive tools for processing thin aluminum (0.18 mm) and ensure the exact adjustment of the machine components.

Optimization: They introduce their own ideas to continuously improve the reliability of our systems and mechanical processes.

Your profile

Qualification: Successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic, machine locker, operating locker (m/w/d) or a comparable mechanical qualification.

Experience: Found professional experience in the maintenance of production facilities, ideally in the field of presses, punching or sheet/aluminium processing.

Working methods: A highly independent, structured and independent way of working with us allows you to move a lot and independently develop an excellent stand in the team.

Additional qualifications (required): knowledge in the field of pneumatics as well as welding skills (e.g. valid welding certificates) are a big plus, but no exclusion criteria.
