Number: MER00041WP Within Mercedes-Benz AG, our innovative team for Driver Distraction Mitigation focuses on the crucial task of validating and releasing sophisticated user interface (UI) concepts safely and reliably. Our goal is to ensure our esteemed customers an outstanding and intuitive user experience while meeting the highest safety standards in vehicle operation. We work at the interface of humans, technology and security to actively shape the future of mobility. These challenges include: Conception and implementation of test subjects: You actively support the detailed design and preparation of test subjects in our driving simulator laboratory. In doing so, you contribute significantly to gaining valuable insights about the human-machine interaction and optimizing the usability of our systems. Data analysis and statistical analysis: You prepare complex datasets, apply advanced statistical methods and use script languages to analyze data structured. Your work provides the basis for data-based decisions and the further development of our assistance systems. Integration and evaluation of prototypes: You contribute to the integration and testing of prototypes in laboratory environments and contribute to the early validation of new concepts. Practical vehicle tests: You support our team in carrying out practical tests directly in the vehicle to evaluate the performance and safety of our systems under real conditions. Scientific research and knowledge management: You carry out scientific research on their own in order to always remain up-to-date and bring innovative approaches to our work. Preparation of presentations and documentation: You prepare meaningful presentations and support the documentation of study results and project progress in order to communicate our findings transparently. The activity can begin from June 2026 and is limited until 30 August 2026.
