BG Transport is the legal accident insurance for transport, postal logistics and telecommunications. About 1.7 million people are insured with us. Your future tasks:

• Monitoring compliance with the requirements of the GDPR and the national laws with data protection regulations
• Contact person and contact point in data protection matters for our supervisory authorities
• Processing and coordination of external data protection requests, requests for IFG, complaints and data subjects rights
• Representation of the interests of BG Transport in cross-border bodies and committees on data protection matters
• Information, consultation of employees and participation in internal and cross-internal projects of the BG Transport

To do this, bring:

• Master's degree at a university or university (in particular law, business informatics, administrative sciences) or the fulfilment of the conditions for the higher service
• Multiannual (min. 3 years) Professional experience in the field of data protection, ideally in the public sector
• good knowledge of GDPR and national laws with data protection regulations
• Ideally completed training with certification for the data protection officer and the KI-VO valid from 01.08.2024
• Embossed communication and consulting skills
• Ability to accurately and understand complex facts
• High self-initiative, reliability and sense of responsibility
• Safe handling of IT tools and interest in technical data protection issues
• very good German knowledge and willingness to multi-day service trips
